KRISO(Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering) is an affiliated organization of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the Korean government. We support various research and education activities related to insulation, and are an officially certified educational institution by FROSIO of Norway. We conduct insulation technology education and testing, and educate the best insulation technology in Asia.

Our training Curriculum
A total of 10 days of theory education, practical education, and exams are conducted.
Theory education is conducted by excellent instructors, and high-level education is provided through insulation material exhibition, insulation system jig, and full-scale module tours.

E-leaning service
FROSIO e-learning provides structured online training for Surface Treatment and Insulation courses.
Approved students can access video lectures, training materials, and AI learning support through their individual login accounts. The system allows trainees to study anytime, review course content repeatedly, and check their learning progress before the final examination.
Access is restricted to authorised students only.
FROSIO AI
FROSIO AI supports students with course-based answers for Insulation and Surface Treatment training.
It helps authorised learners review technical concepts, understand training materials, and prepare for examinations in Korean and English. The AI is designed to provide guidance based on approved learning content, making study more efficient, consistent, and accessible.
AI access is available only to approved students.
